What in the world is this thing? I've never seen a kart like this with so manu mechanical moving parts!

The body that comes with it is awesome and wish I had it for my kart

Here are a couple more, it pretty small. Anyone know how old it is?

jeez that would be ... uhm

Okay first a tecumseh two stroke engine (I think still going by the "power product" name...)
And that'd put the engine in the 1950s to 1960s
and since that's what the body style (1950 cadillac?) is also suggesting...

I wouldn't rule out that it's actually period correct *shrugs*

Anyways there's a lot going on with the kart you have.. and frankly not much of it
appears to be original ...

I doubt it had one rubber and two wooden pedals for example ;)
and at least the pulley set up is incorrect IMHO..
since it seems to be instaleld to match the RAGB that to me looks 20-30 years younger.
Maybe there was a TC setup of some kind (must've been an utterly expensive toy back then IF..)
Anyways, and the way the throttle cable is routed tells me the engine was rotated to accomodate the RAGB *shrugs*

Oh I know..

it was a pedal kart once (or maybe a carousel car or some other carnival ride)
and then someone thought it'd be great to add an engine.. and to fit that in the trunk he ended up with this weird setup.

Since frankly much of the "metal work" doesn't look too professional either, does it?
Nice kart though..
I think it can be turned into a real gem..

I'd love to see the underside of it, and the chassis a bit cleaned up in general...
the inside of the body might give us a clue as well (if you wonder about it's age)
