my daddy was working on a giant electric pump, wich have a bout 4 belts. as he was putting the last belt on, his frend walked up and "accidently" turned the motor on, and dads hand around around the pulley under the belts. luckly hes austrailan, and it didnt hurt his hand.

thats why you should always follow lock up procedures when working on a machine...

yea, well i doublt hes going to work on something without disconecting it anymore.
the funny part was after it happened the guy who turned the pump on said "gee, your accident prone"

Well since I'm an automotive technician, I kinda depend on my fingers a lot. On the "other hand", I can't imagine ANY scenario where my "vegetables"would be anywhere near a chain or sprocket. :eek: :eek: :eek:
I did build a 600 hp front engine dragster one time where you basically sit right over the top of the differential, (didn't build the chassis, just the rear axle and drivetrain). :cool:
