Yea, they usually get frozen rusted on. You can try using heat or just jump to cutting it off. Do you have an air compressor, die grinder and cut off wheels?
Look for set screws. Also use lots of heat and remove the valve cores from the tires so you don’t accidentally blow one up and injure yourself! Lots of heat and PB Blaster.got it now too figure out the axle disassembly
remove nut pull axle out huh ?
Almost found that out the hard way on that B&S Flatty... loosened the set screw and it was still stuck pretty good but it started moving and came offLook for set screws. It's a hobby and a past time, not a race. No go kart is worth risking your health. I feel lucky in that my health is still sort of O K. But
I am 74 years old and some days for a number of reasons I just have to take it easy, can't do it or can't get as much done as I would have liked to. About 5 years ago I gave up working on hot rods and antique cars which had been my hobby for the previous 30 years because it just got to physically hard. Figured working on karts would fit my lifestyle better, and it has. I really enjoy building the little engines and seeing how much power I can squeeze out of them.
