its good haveing a vehical u can do stuff like that in
if u had a good truck u would forever be worried about scratches and dents but in these its like
well theres anoughter dent oh well that dent sorta straightened out these other dents

we get people that come do this round our area
it turns a bush road into a rutted messy track and is a real pain when u are trying to get 1/2 million$ machinery that isnt all wheel drive though there in summer

ahh i see. i had 3 nylon ropes and a ratchet strap tied to the bumper and the tree. i gunned it in reverse and it stopped the truck but didnt even bend the bumper back. thats a 6,000lb truck coming to a dead stop. it must have taken a LOT of force to bend that

but since ill be building a bumper in the future im not too worried about it, now that its cut and clears the wheel fine

oh yeah! thats what i need. i didnt really want to mount an expensive winch on the bumper. i wanted to make hooks though and use some kind of external winch if i ever got stuck.

i probably cant go off roading for like... until i turn 18 in 1 1/2 years... my parents HATE off roading and if i ever came home with a muddy truck again they said they would take the keys and ground me

unless i wash it before i come home

ill find a way i guess. the one time i went was real good fun.

they rub a little when i turn all the way and hit a bump. i dont like that so ima get a 3 inch front coil spacer and make my own 3 inch block added under the leafs.

Well, that solves it. When I need a vehicle it'll be a single cab, short box truck with 31" tires or larger. That looks amazing, although it does have a slight hint of redneck to it, probably the visor.

i like the way it drives now, it hits bumps softer, and the shifting is less jerky if you arent perfect at shifting. the gear ratio is actually a little bit higher and id say its changed to a couple hundred RPM less to go the same speed with the stock 31's. theres much more traction, but the tires are somewhat noisy at high speeds

i got it up to like 75 and it doesnt wobble much but i usually go bout 55-60 on the highway just below 2,000 rpm in 5th gear. i used to have to rev a little over 2,000 rpm to go that speed.

in reverse it goes a lot faster than before, i used to let the clutch completely out sometimes but now if i do that, im really cruising backwards

bigger and wider tires do make a vehicle ride better but you will most likely burn more gas. those fords seem to have a high reverse gear. i know even my dad once in a while stalls while in reverse. i do know for sure that they can do 55km/h in reverse without redlining. my dad has scared many people doing the speed limit down a street in reverse.

i think reverse is meant to just be slipped a little bit. haha thats funny though. i dont know why they'd gear it so high, you never need to go more than 10mph in reverse

lol that video was great

im having some problems with the 33's, only when im in tight spots. this afternoon i was at a gas station and had to face the other way to the pump. i had to go down the street, do a K turn then come back facing the other way. then someone parked in front of me so i had to so some tight maneuvers to get out. then later i was in a tight parking lot and i was forced to turn the wheels all the way to get out. they rubbed a little, not sure where but it was noisy.

normal driving is fine though, it just doesnt like sharp turns

I'd check and make sure you know where they are rubbing and try to fix it. Not good for the tires and handling.

get some rims with a little more offset. cutting the fenders with a sawsall and putting fender flares on is also another cheep trick, rather than lifting.
