I may not use that head after all. NR racing sells a complete head. Ported, polished and loaded with SS valves, dual springs, rockers and milled to order. The price is only a little more than the price of the parts. Seems like a good way to go.
Anyone want a milled stock GX390 head? (Milled to order)

So Egor took the company credit card and ordered a bunch of stuff.
the boxes are arriving now. His plan is to spend, errr ahhh l mean build a nice engine. He has been seeking counsel from several sources and has what looks like a solid plan.
Billet flywheel, billet rod .040 over, flat top piston, thin rings, 306-411 cam, big port head, milled, chomoly push rods, stainless valves, dual springs, titanium retainers,
Gage 1.2:1 shaft mounted aluminum rockers.
thats all hes admitting to, there might be more. Stay tuned.

Egor has been busy working out some jetting problems and finalizing all the small details. He has announced that the project is complete and ready for the test pilot to give it a good shakedown run.
Our test pilot will be available this weekend and has scheduled a few hours to run this pile o scrap through its paces.
