Someone hands you a tire and a rim, and says this tire needs a tube.

First and foremost, What's the first thing you do?

(Let's just assume you possess the tube and the tools needed.)

Seems how I know this is a trick question cause I was a manager at Cycle gear...............

Get the customers information to call them back.

You could also make sure the wheel is straight

You could also make sure the spokes are tight

You could also makes sure the wheel has the rubber band spoke protector on it.

You could also check to see if you have the correct tube in stock

The jack@ss put the tube in with thorns still in the tire. Flat tube the next morning.

I assumed it was a new tire and new tube. Since the condition of both items wasn't mentioned at first it kind of makes this whole "trick question" shenanigan just a mindless waste of time. I'm sorry Mr Hellion for not elaborating that this was originally a tubeless tire. To me it seemed obvious that it went flat, so needed a tube. I will be more careful in my descriptions in the future.
