before i gave the engine away i looked and the 256cc 9hp could fit in it easily with alittle frame cutting

yea but i got rid of my 9hp for this thing. i was just going to go with 6 maybe 9 if i can find a cheap one. also how would i go about hooking up the alt to it to keep the battery charged? it already has the hook up for the alt

anyone? i need help hooking up the electricals on this bike. i have to replace alot of it so... any help would be good. also would some mini led flashers and brake lights be good or no? to pass inspection

The best way to do that is to get an engine with a charger in the flywheel, like what you find on a lot of riding mowers. Most of these engines are vertical shaft, though.

The duromax electric start 7hp motor maxtools.com sell is only like $190 shipped. It has pull and electric start. I just put one on a cart and it is badass. Forget the harbor freigth 6.5 predator, go for this.

in stead of making a new thread hopefully someone can help me on this one. im going to get a lifan 125cc 4 speed dirt bike engine to put on this bike. my question is how would i hook up a charger or alternator for the battery?

ok well finally ordered engine carb and air filter today should be here next week. cant wait. just now looking for a rear sprocket. about a 66t-72t either #420 or #41

got all my parts. the engine fits like a glove in the frame with no modding. but i need to adjust it alittle for it to work. also the shifter is going to be why behind the foot peg. what is a way i could lengthen the shifter?
