NOT A DEAD THREAD!
havent been on the internet much lately. This kart is now black, has a brand new 6.5 clone (HF black, not blue) and is getting really close to being finished. Still have a few bugs to work out. thinking hard about a half cage. still not sure. also some kind of lighting system. Any input is good.

If you wana sand blast you should get crushed coal. It doesn't matter so much for a go kart but I've noticed it works a lot better then crushed walnuts. The coal will make the metal look a lot nicer and it makes the paint last long and stops it from chipping. The paint also looks better with this stuff and it's nice for thin metal.

EDIT: Nevermind you already painted it.

well, when i had it on there for testing, i put oil in it, and it fired first pull. Hasn't hiccupped since. its mounted to my work table now. Did first oil change and did some throttle cable work. Its identical to the blue ones in every way except color. Runs excellent and had plenty of power to put down when you asked for it. Had so much power it shearedf the teeth off the jackshaft sprocket. But the new one came in today and it should be up and running again by the weekend. I need to get those pics taken for you guys, it is starting to look pretty cool
