Torque converter ?

Kart had an old 400 arctic cat set up in it, I blew the motor. I found an 18hp kohler to put in it. The question I have I can I run the 40 series torque converter driver and still use the driven off the snowmobile set up

Unlikely as the belt is thinner and the driven is too large a diameter. Younmight be able to get the shaft turned down to the sled taper for less than a 40 series would cost, but then you would have to play with the clutching

Hed never get the rpms needed to engage it.

Thanks guys, looks like I will just get the parts needed for a 40 series set up
