First they removed the disc between C6 and C7 and did an anterior fusion. Then they removed the entire C6 vertebrae and fused 5-7. ACDF followed by an anterior corpectomy.


My spinal cord is still compressed on the posterior side but there’s some space now. The compression caused loss of blood flow in the spinal cord. No blood flow, no oxygen. So my spine just slowly died. Havent had an MRI in a while but part of my spine is just like permanently dead.

Cervical Myelopathy and edema. The L5-S1 disc extrusion pressing on the sciatic nerve is just bonus fun.

I fully understand your pain! They want to do more work on my back. Makes me nervous! Can’t go through a metal detector as it is. Even if they do fix it no guarantee I’ll still be able to walk 10 or 20 years from now.
