I guess it's out of alignment because it is very snug and doesn't even think about moving when I shake it with my hand. The other night the bolt came loose and the torque converter came apart but it didn't appear to be damaged so I put it back togetherWobble means loose, you can move it with your fingers. Out of alignment means you cannot lay a straightedge from the driver pulley's face to the driven pulley's face, and you can only detect the movement as the driver turns around its 360 axis. Which is it?
Use of an impact on the shaft bolt means the bolt is tight against something, supposedly the driver. If the driver's loose, the bolt must have bottomed out before it tightened against the driver. If so, you must have left out some spacers somewhere.
I already ordered the replacement parts I'm not going to sweat it I heard kind of a scraping going on in there so I'm just gonna replace itTake the driver apart again, use a good dry moly lube on the internal parts so they move very freely, just don't get any on the belt-contact faces. Sounds like something internal didn't go back together correctly, maybe backwards, maybe out of place, maybe who knows..............
30 series or 40 series TC? What horsepower engine?

30 series and the belt moves freely idk what's going. Everything I've gotten as far as parts is from gopowersports. Is the belt stuck in the driven clutch? What series is the CVT? 30? 40? Do you have any pictures?
Does that mean the pulleys turn freely also? If so, is the chain still on the output sprocket of the TC? If it's still on properly on both sprockets, take it off of both. At least then you'll know what's locked up, the axle or the TC or the motor or whatever.the belt moves freely
Budget, I'm curious...........Was that groove caused by (A): a setscrew slipping, and/or (B): No locking collars to stop things from sliding?it broke free and carved a big groove in the axle
