Torque Converter adjustment/assembly

Friend has a Max Torque converter on his kart.
Seems the driven pulley has a lack of pre-load on the spring. Is this system the same as Comet's? Do you pre-load the spring clockwise when assembling?

Yes you hook the spring in the tang of the Helix and turn in to the next button range.
