That tire will fit that rim. Now, will that rim fit your kart?
The last number in the sequence is the rim diameter.
The "turf tire" is a squared tire. Nothing wrong with that, especially on the back.
The 145/60 are rounded. They look good on the front.

Metric sizing works like this-

Section width/Aspect ratio-Rim diameter

The first number is in millimetres. The section width is nominal measurement from the widest point of the sidewalls. 25.4mm= 1 inch. So:145mm/25.4=5.7" at the widest point.

The aspect ratio- is how TALL profile of this tires is, COMPARED to the width, expressed as a percent in millimetres. 60% of 145... So 145x.6=87mm/25.4=3.42" section height.

The third number is rim diameter expressed in inches. To figure out total diameter-

(Section width/aspect ratio)x2+Diameter
3.42x2+6= 12.85"

Like anything, this is nearly NEVER what the true measurement works out to.

Hang on; in the case of car/truck tyres, that's true. However, in the case of the tyre in the link above (& others like it) those rules don't apply.

A 205/50/15 car tyre has a tread width of 205mm, a wall height of 102mm (50% of the tread width) & fits a 15" rim

A 15 x 6.00-6 tyre means the total height is 15", the tread width is 6" & it fits a 6" rim

Well- THIS was the example given-

So... It's not solely car/truck tires, it's any Metric sized tire. I realise the one in the link is not metric, but he asked about a Metric size.

Is that a dead axle? On a kart that size? IIWM, I'd be converting it to a live axle. Doesn't look like it would be too difficult either &, since you're changing everything anyway...

Can't see the motor mount since it's covered up. I would guess that it could stay where it is. You would have to weld on some axle hangers and get a hub for a sprocket. Then you'd have to do something for your brakes. That is a big kart for a dead axle.
