Tillotson HL19D Resources

All right guys, I finally got the HL19D carburetor mounted in the Hothead and got it to start up!!
One problem though-
It dumps fuel out the intake. :/

So I need to open this thing up and stop the huge leaks, so that brings me to the reason I'm making this thread.
Anyone know which rebuild kit I need for a Tillotson HL19D?
Any documentation relevant to this carburetor would also be helpful.

Im no expert with tillotsons, but do repair small engines for a living.

Check the needle, if nice and clean the pivot bracket, where it contacts the diaphragm should be flush
with the carb casting. Attached a pic for reference, a straight edge and a small pick or screwdriver to bend
the tab is all you need.

And check for torn/ worn diaphragms/ gaskets. That's all I can offer.

By the way, nice exhaust header/ pipe

Tillotsons are their own species.
The pop off spring has to be set just right, and you have to have a specific tester to know where it’s at.
As far as a kit goes, I’d contact EC carburetors and they should be able to point you in the right direction and will most likely have what you need. I deal with them a lot, and they’ve been good to me.

Alright I'll shoot them an email right now then, even if they don't have a kit, they'll probably have diagrams or whatnot they can show me.
