Having only one nipple indicates that this carb requires an existing internal pulse line. There should be a small hole on carb mounting flange. This has to line up with hole on your engines intake manifold. If incorrect gasket is used, hole will be blocked.

Hey Sayre, The digatron leads arent too much. I would say about $15-20 at the most for both leads. But if your buying them brand new, Be in for a nice surprise.

Problem is, yours is not fully adjustable.
No high speed adjust. Probably specific to a particular engine.
Lack of external pulse line can also be a problem as it may not work with current manifold. However, I have successfully converted similar carbs over from internal to external pulse.
The hl239b is NOS (New Old Stock) and can be used on almost any engine from 8hp on down (out of the box) provided engine is setup for external pulse line.
What engine are you planning to use this on?

Hey Russ, Kibble, Oscar, and Sayre! Would a small groove, ground with a dremel from the pulse hole on the mounting flange to the carb throat work?

I can't see any reason why it would not work.
Would have to be deep/wide enough to be effective and cautions taken to ensure that gasket does not end up re-sealing hole.
Gasket goop would have to be avoided. I rarely use the stuff anyway.
Worth a stab. I have seen slotted carb flange gaskets. This may be why.
Good work Jerry!!!

Darnit, I was caught eBay handed :(

It was too good of a deal :D Obtw, thanks Russ, that was a helluva deal ya found. I'll go take a picture of my manifold + the pulse adapter. And a $3 problems solver for the external pulse.
