Throttle question

so first off I wanted to ask if this throttle setup looks sufficient to you guys??

I went to jax and bought a single spoke and chopped it then bent it as tight as i could so that it would fit but i used the spring from the original throttle and have removed the govenor.

Also I was wondering when you hook up the cable to the pedal how does it keep from tearing the carberauter apart if you slam on the gas??? Thanks for looking

i just hooked my throttle up and it only cost around 5 bucks i will take a pic and tell you what you need to make it work and i don't even need a return spring due to my gas pedal has one built in

You use a adjustable pedel stop so you dont damage the carburater.
