Off hand I know its metric...
Take the throttle plate in to check and get a new one..
I usually replace that one with a much better head(allen or the like), the Philips generally strips out after a few tightenings...

Or take the extra one off the throttle arm, between your red and yellow, and use that one?

Who knows what thread they use.
Just take the part up to the hardware store and find whatever $.13 screw fits it.

Being these are pretty much standard throttle plates, I'm thinking they should all have the same screw size but that's just my view.

I know I have one SOMEWHERE and was going to get the thread pitch and size for you.... but I couldn't find it and know where it should be (parts drawer for the motor it came off of).

Are there any mower repair shops near you? Maybe a tech there has one or the shop carries the cable stop.
