got the new ignition working havent reved it right up yet to scared the flywheel might explode but it revs up faster and idels nice will get some videos when i get round to it broke my $50 taco peved about that to the max but its my fault for wireing its puls line to the wrong side of the coil

Pull the tach apart and check for buldged capacitors, you've probably just nuked one. Cheap and easy to fix.
