Is that a tobacco or shoe polish tin made into an air filter box?
I like it, something different and reinforces the DIY theme.
Are you going to run a clutch or will it be direct drive?

One tip, those zip starters don't last long without the decompressor fitted. I made a nipple from a 1/4" bolt with a hole drilled through from end to end, then drilled a hole in the inlet manifold, tapped a thread and fitted the bolt with Loctite. The decompressor tube is connected to it - works fine.
Another way: A friend of mine adapted a Honda starter to fit the Victa, used the Honda cup in place of the Victa one and bolted the Honda starter onto the Victa cowling.
