It wouldn't be taped, it'd be held on with grape flavored bubble gum. That way it can be removed and re-applied when you put the seat belt on. Tape would wear out quickly. :arf:

actually its a seat belt out of my dads 57 chevy pickup and it actually works its only a lap belt but it does prevent un happy meetings with the post for the steering wheel. a freind of mine found out the hard way wen he locked the throttle and hit a fence and slid forwars in the seat. so i put it in the next day so far so good and the "kids" are safe.

Reminds me a time when I mashed the brakes in my dragster with the harness too loose, OUCH!!!
