Soooo...as I said, Sammy is not pleased. He is on one side of the living room...BB is on my lap. BB keeps rushing Sammy and getting a beatdown...( dogs REALLY aren't that smart!)

Sammy has actually been pretty nice about it....he has popped the living daylights out of this little pest 3 times, and it isn't even bleeding! I have a feeling if she keeps it up, Sammy is gonna unsheave those claws and introduce her to reality.

Meanwhile, I have incorporated a flyswatter as a visual aid to get this dog to listen and obey a little better.

BTW: She's actually not too dumb for a dog. She picked up the fetch game pretty quick. Now, gotta work on potty training, and then just for grins, some other tricks.

Things are slowly getting better with the little pest dog. Meanwhile, it's snowing and cold here so I thought I'd catch up on the the news.

Someone hold my beer while I relate:

I found out that iconic figure Pillsbury Dough boy died a few days ago at 75. He was survived by his 3 children; John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dill Dough. His wife Play Dough also has one in the oven.

The cause of death was a yeast infection and complications from years of traumatic stomach pokes.

The services were held yesterday at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

I think I may finally have this little dog housebroken.

But, still some problems. Sammy ( the cat) chases dogs twice her size off, but runs from her.

BB, ( the dog), discovered the turtle last week and is seriously concerned about it, and has even barked and growled at it.

I got Oscar ( the snake) 4 small rats today. She ate 3 no problem, but the last one, I noticed she was very careless in how she grabbed it and went to constrict it. So a snakebite ensued. She got bit!!!! Now she is afraid ( or at least disinterested ATM) with this rat!

And BB has now noticed the snake, and is hiding out in the bathroom.
Crazy critters!

Are you kidding me? Within spitting distance of Livingston, Toledo Bend AND THE GULF?

If you can't catch fish there, you can't catch fish anywhere. You'll love it!

We have over 10,000 lakes here and everything is over fished like crazy. I may have to take a few weeks time next winter and fish down there, if it's that good.

This is kinda weird

So I made Shrimp Tenochtitlan. Now, it calls for dried shrimp. I had some whole and some powdered. The whole isn't too gross, but I swear, that powdered stuff smells like a 6 month old dead animal.
It's an old Aztec recipe.

It actually tastes pretty good. I hope it doesn't kill me.

I think that's actually when you go fishing in the bay riding a pool noodle.

Ok...this is so simple, but don't dismiss this out of hand. The most expensive wines are just grapes, sugar, and yeast. The finest, most expensive cheeses...basically milk, ( and maybe some retin.)

So...a pot of boilng water. A teaspoon of oil, salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of vinegar. Crack a couple of eggs and drop them in . Cook untill the top of the yolks just start to change color. Put pats of butter on a couple of pieces of toast.

Then spoon some of the boiling liquid around the edges of the toast where the egg doesn't cover. Chop up and enjoy!

I dare you to try this and say it isn't World Class good.

The frigging overzealous new Code Compliance officer is jacking with me. So, I'm gonna have to throw away a bunch of stuff I rather not, then get a storage unit and move a bunch there.

So, I call up the nearby mini- storage place. " Hello, Northwest Mini- Storage, this is Milyn, how may I help you?" "Wait...WHAT did you say your name was?" Milyn, like Melinda without the da." " Yeah, wow, I know, my ex-wife was named Milyn, she was from Pascagoula, Mississippi." "Is this Doug?" " Yeah." " It's me, Milyn."

The company she works for bought this place out, and if that wasn't weird enough, she only works there on Mondays!
