A guy I knew years ago actually put a trolling motor on his tube. I never wanted or needed one, but I did put a graph on mine one time.

The guy that did it was kinda a funny guy. He weighed like 350 lbs. but he could go from flat on his back to standing up without using his arms to push up. He was also a 3rd degree black belt (one of two of my friends who was). He moved to Lake Fork and became a professional fishing guide. Before he left I did a double sided hybrid striper mount for him, but made him promise not to tell who did it.

It wound up on display in a bait shop..and he told me it drove hundreds of people crazy because he wouldn't reveal who mounted it.

I guess I'm kinda a funny guy too. I had become so good I could compete with the best in the world...but wanted to do carpentry instead.

If I ever procure a big tube like that, Im going to put a motor on it. Even if only once...

The past few years Id gone up north fishing in Canada, out in "the bush". generally theres not too many people, so I figure it make em look to see some yahoo putzin about on a tube with a lawn chair and trolling motor. Maybe totin along a cooler in the water behind.

I used to get banned for crap like this.... Robert thought I was driving new members away....when I was just EXPOSING them. Look back....I told them we would give them the benefit of the doubt...(provided they became valuable members) ...and then we get the attitude....

Yeah....PURE COINCIDENCE.....(and I'll pay you back when I get my income tax check! )

Wonder if they'll ever figure out my 13 year old comment? Oh well...as they say: good riddance to bad rubbish!
