Hey guys...thanks for thinking of me. I've made some changes in my life and been really busy.

Before the ban...I was really, really, feeling bad, and it had been building up for a long time. I knew a big part of it was nutrition, because I couldn't eat very well. I got a Nutri-bullet and it started me on a whole new path.

I would have never thought I would ever even be in a health food store, much less know what all the stuff in there was, and be trying to buy the store out! But now I have a pretty healthy inventory of pretty healthy crap.

In keeping with the Poboy tradition, though, I'm brewing my own Kefir and Kombucha, making my own Almond milk, and getting ready to grow wheatgrass and Goji berries.

I have a huge inventory of nuts and fruits (LOL)....(Eat your heart out Chancer!)....so I'm making all manners of nut butters.

I have Chia seeds, rolled and steel cut oats, almonds, cashews, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, wheat bran, hemp hearts, and peanuts......(and more....)

I got Romaine, kale, swiss chard, and spinach. Celery, carrots, tomatoes, dried goji berries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Apples, bananas, oranges, and pineapples...avocados and aloe vera...chlorella,spirulina, maca powder, and plant protein.....got Himalayan salt, Bragg's apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice, blackstrap molasses, organic agave syrup, and honey.

I'm looking to get some Ceylon cinnamon....

Soooooo.....I'm nowhere near fanatical about this stuff though.....I had Chorizo and eggs for breakfast, BBQ bologna sandwich for lunch, a couple of snacks of good ol' Texas gulf raw oysters, and planning on collard greens (heavy on the bacon ) and pigs feet for supper. Maybe a loaded baked potato..(heavy on the butter)...and then I'll pig out on ice cream, chocolate cordial cherries, chocolates. and spice drops...then make a big plate of seafood nachos for a snack....Soooo, no danger of me becoming a Vegan....or a total organically grown, cage free, gluten free, fat free, sugar free ....FREE -ak.!!!

Especially as long as Jack in the Box makes those "Buttery Jacks" and Arby's makes those French dip sandwiches.....(not to mention....Oak Acres BBQ brisket and turkey) !!!

But adding all that other stuff has me feeling better than I have in 10 years....

LOOKOUT!!!!! Poboy is BAAAAACK!!!:cornut:

EDIT: BTW: I ain't gunshy Tony....just busy as heck...and now I got to get off here and plant some lettuce and wheat and make those pigs feet....

Classic. Jeckel and Hyde. After the first paragraph I thought we had lost you to the yuppies, and figured for sure I would have a new neighbor soon. But then back to Buttery jacks and Nachos. Coo coo coo coo. Your all over the place. Thank God some things never change!

WB buddy!

Himalayan salt is a lie (it's just pink, as hawaiian salt is black... nutritial benefit: NONE!)
it looks nice though :D
Salt - like sugar - is always the same , dfference in texture, color, sometimes taste, never in nutrition.
(oh iodized salt as an exception ;))
So if you're not after a different taste (and that is a very minor difference from hawaiian to white rocksalt tbh)
don't waste money on fancy salts or brown sugar or stuff like that.

Gee thanks Alex! I figured out I could take rock salt.....dissolve it....add some red food coloring....put a string on a stick....and viola!!!!..."pink" Himalayan salt when it recrystalizes.....

How am I going to fleece the whole forum with a cheap knockoff if you debunk the health benefits of the real McCoy?????

JK.

WOW has life been busy lately. Working 32 hours a week and going to school full time as well has been exhausting. Still managing to pull a 3.62 GPA. Just got promoted at work as well to a Super Visor position after just a month. Just ordered some new goodies on Friday, maybe some pics when it all arrives?

Anyways. Hope everyone has been doing well, and welcome back Poboy. Glad to see you're back.

A little off topic but I am glad to see a young person set their course in life in the right direction early on, life goes by faster than we think and we are all about our own choices, kudos to you! P.S. I think poboy would tell you the same thing!

:iagree: Good for you Dirty. 3.62 is an excellent GPA. What kind of Work are you doing anyway. A good work ethic seems hard to find theses days. But don't forget to have a little fun too. You are only young once and you have to work your entire life.
