its okay, my mother comes home, opens the garage [yeah I still live at home] and she goes "WHooa! what are you doing in here with the door closed!" "It's like 10 degrees cooler outside then it is in here." my response. "the... mosquitoes.... *twitch* they're.... getting to me!" she looks at me, and goes "All the wood dust and heat is getting to you...."
seriously its pretty bad when you prefer the heat over those darn mosquitoes, and my neighborhood sprays those nasty chemicals to rid of them, but all the darn old people just HAVE to have 50 bird baths in their yards, and all the abandoned homes with pools that would make a swamp seem clean. the parrals of living in the south.
on another note, the golf course behind my house recently bought a bunch of land, and started bulldozing trees and such. [I've been sneaking out there at night collecting all the burl wood!

] but ever since, I've been finding big ol' juicy ticks in the tall grasses and such, use to never have this problem... I guess the big ones are better then the little ones, Less hungry!
