The plural of rpm is rpm, not rpms

2 rpm
5,000 rpm

Like fish, not fish's or fishes.

RPM stands for 'revolution(s) per minute'. When you say/type rpms you are saying 'revolution(s) per minutes', which makes no sense at all.
