Ok so we all know the belt that comes with the eBay 30 series converter is junk. Mine is about done for with 10ish hours of riding.
I got a belt that's supposed to be a 30 series replacement from tractor supply (I have one a mile from home). The belt is a "Masters of motion" belt and the part number is 5959H. This is supposed to be the same as a 203589a belt. The problem is, is that it is too long. It works, but slips until rolling 5-10mph from a stop. It is longer out of the box than the worn out cheap belt that came with it.
Did I get a bad belt or is this not correct at all? Is the comet 203589 belt the same length as the cheap belt that came with the kit, or is it longer as well?
I measured my setup as comet describes on there website from center of each shaft. I've got a 6in driven pulley, and the length from shaft to shaft is 6 11/16 inches. Am I buying the wrong belt?
