IIRC, Big said that you need to spray down the POR15 with a black spray paint while it is still tacky to make it UV resistant because, as said before, it isn't UV resistant.

red: I guess gloss and semi gloss
Big: someone posted on this video that the por15 should have a top coat of paint afterwords, do you know what he is talking about.

Yes por15 black needs top coat. You need to rattle can the top coat right after you paint the por15 while it is still tacky. This way it bonds as one. Just follow intructons for top coat when you get the kit.

Hardnose needs no top coat.

can you just do 2 coats?

It may cut down on the shine. I have not tried that. You need to top coat while the por15 is still tacky. If you wait the top coat will just scratch off the por15 later. it must be top coated within 10 minutes or so when using por15. Once you start the por15 process there is no resting. Also paint everything at the same time for por15 has hardly any shelf life. Never paint from the can. As soon as you touch the full can of paint with your brush it starts to dry even faster. Por15 will tell you to not even get a sweat drop from your head into the can. One drop of moisture will ruin the can. Also if you get any por15 on the lip of the can it will never open again if it dries. You will bend and cut pry thru the lid before the seal will let go.

If you want your por15 to last longer this is what you do. You drill small holes in the lid. Dump out the por15 that you need thru the hole. Then seal the hole with a screw with rubber gasket or o-ring. This will make your por15 last a little longer.

If you did open the can and want to save it for a few weeks you can try this. Make sure the seal is sealed well. Then store in the fridge upside down. The reason you put it upside down is the por15 will make a thick skin on top. So the nest time you go to open the can. The thick skin is on the bottom of the can. This way no need to even deal with the skin. If you painted stright from the can it will be solid no matter what you do to try to make it last longer.

Will using flat spray paint take off the shine like T man said? Also, I feel you should write up a COMPLETE POR15 guide with tips and have it stickied so that we can refer to that when needed instead of waiting for you to come along and say the same thing you've already said 328 times.

Just trying to help friend.

If I said anything 328 times I must have been asked questions for half that amount.:D

I would do write up like that. But my grammer and spelling and all that is not sticky worthy. Scared of that stuff.
