Mmmm mud ... I need to get some fenders on this.

big: for Codys kart I would like to get some 15's like whats on the trike/quad. Do you have rims also that would fit the 1" axle ?

All my wheels and tires are 8". I have lots of ody wheels and tires. I also have the one that are on my blue ody right now. I think those are what your looking for. I will let them go for shipping price only just for you.

I also have ody front wheels and hubs along with spindles to match. The hubs are metric so you would have to find the same size spindles or chop up the one I have to make work.

How about this. I will send you a complet set up with wheels hubs and j-arms with spindles. This way you can just fab ody style j-arms suspension on Kody kart. All free just pay shipping.

The set up would be so easy it is not even funny. You would have front suspension along with killing 10 birds with one stone.

Like this. You would only have to find a main bar to slide your j-arms onto. Then just weld onto the kart and slide the j-arms onto it. Done with suspension. No bump steer and solid heavy duty front end. You can make it as wide as you want as well. I think this would save you lots of money in the long run. I may have some tie rods I can toss in. Would love to see you work with ody parts on a kart. The tires I will send you are nice with over 80% tire life left.

You already have the shocks as well.

Amagine how easy it would be to design a kart with the parts in the pics? Get the main bar in straight ios your only hard part. After that everything is done already. This would be a great setup for your viewers. All these parts are cheap on ebay and you would be the first to build one with ody parts that I know of. everybody wants cheap suspension and this is it. Not a bad deal considering shipping would only be about $25 or so.

Hubs and wheels not in pics. Just the j-arms and spindles.

Do it T-man. This is a great deal. I will hold the parts if you want them until you can get some extra cash for shipping. Just let me know and there yours. Also you know me, I will always toss in extra goodies and mystery items. LOL

Not to sure on tie rods though. I will have to do some digging. Also was told the Ody set up has little to no bump steer. Might be perfect for little Cody. I can mosh right over a curb with ody suspension and tires. They are baloon type tires. Lat pics shows the type of tires I have for you. I also have a bunch of 50% to 40% tread rear tires to match.

Yah man you make Cody a mini ody. You already have the wheel. You can get the ody front end from me. The just a make a mini size ody looking frame. Copy the original ody roll bar. Cody would have a t-man mini ody. Cool.....

If you nice I can toss in the full steering shaft with pitman arm and steering column. How cool and easy would that be to build? You would have a complete honda engineered front suspension and steering. If you break a part they are a dime a dozen on ebay. Let me know.

I was not lieing when I said I have stacks of tires and piles of Ody parts. My wife said she is going to cal the show Buried Alive Horders if I do not stop soon.

Here is some pics of my junk pile. From tires to engines. Also notice the beefy tread tires I have, Those are 8" but would need to get some cash for those. They are new.

Also if your interested in the mini ody build. You can buy a ody reduction unit with driven clutch and brake rotor for $75 or so. Also buy the axle for about $50. I have the rear hubs, wheels and caliper for free.

If you could match up a clutch to the ody driven you would be on your way to a very cheap well built kart. The Ody primary clutch is on a 30mm tapered shaft. No speacial curves in the belt. A comet 94c primary matches the stock ody driven.

So $125 for the ebay trans and axle plus shipping. Then plus shipping for my parts about $35 now. Not bad for 95% of the parts you need for the build. Not to mention bullet proof honda setup.

Anyway thought you would enjoy these pics of my madness. Some pics of my Sandford and Sons backyard.

Auto cross is fun! I've ridden along once with my neighbor in his 98 BMW M3. But yes, you can have a full kart for the price of a set of good tires for auto cross.

oh also I was doing this today. The landlord wants to take down the other two trees in front of our neighbors place. We had to take the fence down. The tree cutter guy cut a big branch and it ended up falling on one of the polls. I have a huge pile of branches outside the shop. I'll show pictures of that tomorrow before we start on the second tree.

I like the pegs T-Man. I saw a set like you did but the guy just welded some diamond plate steel to the peg top.

How will it fit the kids? Or will they be riding this one?

I think you should add a stop on the end of the peg. When it gets wet in may be slippery. A tab welded on the end would keep your foot from sliding off the ends. You can still use your caps. Just weld the small 1/2" lip on the pegs ends. Would also give your foot a grip or plant when going into turns. Not only that but I think it would spice up the peg more than it already is. It would take the boxy look away if you will.

well the more I have been driving this, The more I dont like the idea of the kids driving it .. to fast and to much torque.

the grooves seem to work great But I think I will put a stop in place....for winter time.
