i think i spoke to soon about that steering i dont think it will work becuase u had it at the end of the steering shaft and based on my setup i would need it right in the middle dont know how i would do it

ya , the set-up should be bolted to the floor ... thats the way I had it.

well i think i have figured out how to use the U Joint finaly.... so i am probalby going to use this to do the steering
but thx for taking time to make the video i might use this idea on a different project

I was talking to a few New Zealanders on Live chat the other night and they told me about a movie that I should watch. So I went and rented it and I'm going to watch it as soon as I put up this post.

t-man, i was hopeful to getting a crankshaft today, i got a blown up 9hp tecumseh, 3/4" OD shaft, keyway, drilled and tapped, BUT IT DOESNT FIT

no way , that sux. you would think that they would have the crank at least a standard thing.

yup, i thought the 7-10HP cranks were interchangeable. i guess not.....

and the thing i cant believe is it would have been perfect! the shaft is 3/4 drilled and tapped!


tomorrow i think ill contact the guy at my machine shop and ask him what he thinks the best way to save it would be.
