ha ya , woo hoo. I was looking for more footage to through into that video but I couldn't find it. I put out a video a few weeks ago where I crashed into a stump with the kart and fell off but now I cant find it.

Part of your low-volume plan sales might be the perceived complexity however to me, looking at your chassis picture, it seems fairly straight forward. Certainly the steering has a degree of complexity not found in other, more traditional karts.

I have noticed that a lot of the kart-plan sellers on ebay aren't having their auctions close out to a winning bidder, and I think part of that is the economy - adults, who are the ones with the money, are not spending as much on non-essential things in preparation for the "worst".

I also think with all the free plans that are available, there are enough alternatives that someone might not take the risk of time and materials trying to make your kart. Not because it's complicated, but because it *looks* complicated.

I'm in my 40's and a parent, and I cannot tell you how many toys and things my four year old "absolutely had to have" that now sit in a pile in the attic. I can't imagine what this will be like when he's 12-15.

My personal theories aside, I have to admit your kart design looks great and is quite striking. I always appreciate unique approaches to anything. Kudos.

advertise it as easy to follow simple plans. and step by step instructions on how to build this kart. and it looks complicated but its easy!

thanks , It was a little short. Put it together realy late and started to get tired. been haveing some trouble with the new design, so I thing I might finish the A-kart. Itook it apart to put a larger engine on it. The little 2.5 floped out.

Ya , I wasn't to sure. I just stuck it on 2. I tried to do a video of it but my stupid batteries died 1/4 of the way through it. I tried to pull the driven apart but it wouldnt come apart so I had to do it with a needle nose and flathead screw driver.
Its probably better that I didnt do a video because I was cussing so much at the thing, the video would have been so chopped up.

Yeah, thats the huge problem with people asking for a video about driven clutches. We've got special tools that are designed to take these apart when they've been damaged. Its just one of those things that if you don't feel comfortable doing there are shops out there that will, unfortunately i'm not sure how many shops do this stuff :p

The video wasn't bad man, but from an advertising aspect you might consider separating all personal content in videos and placing them in a vlog. It might help with advertising so that not only can they specifically target what to advert per video but it might make some people more willing to watch the kart/trike/mini-bike videos.

What do you consider to be your next project?

I vote mini-bike from scratch, it would be smaller and simpler but I feel there is a resurgence for this and would be really well received.

ya, I think I should stop the personal stuff I do have a channel that I could put that stuff on.
I think the mini bike would be a good idea. I am working on my neighbors truck now. Trying to make some money so I can keep going, For now I think I might do some videos on that.
