I live in Canton, MS. U.S.
The hieght is fine on it so is width not sure on length because forgot to measure that of course but I think it will be ok. Don't have to worry about cranking it because I'm going to wire it for electric start but not sure if the alternator is good enough for a winch and lights

Don't forget about suspension travel...

Worst case scenario, you can remote mount the fuel tank above the rack...

Lights will be ok but, the winch should run off the battery anyway; that just means you'll need a bigger battery...

...& what's with the triple post? I know you know there's an edit button :toetap05:

One more question will the alternator on the predator 420cc be enough for the engine the 2000lb WINCH and a few headlights?

I highly doubt that at least running them at the same time will most likely be too much.

But if you have LED lights you can save most of the power, for example in a larger battery, which in turn will power your winch rather easily ;)

Whooaaa.... You do NOT run ANYTHING off the alternator. The "hot" lead from alternator goes to battery. It only puts out like 8-12 amps I believe. If your winch draws 15 amps, your alt will burn up. Everything should be wired to the battery via a power distribution center, with relays/fuses..... The battery supplies the power for your lights, winch, ect. and the alt charges the battery . Since you dont use lights and winch all the time,it will be fully charged at all times.

:iagree:you shouldn't, but I don't see any problem at all running LEDs directly..
We're talking about maybe 2 Amps here (incl parasitic loss) I'm pretty sure that this amount of current will not kill that tiny little thing ;)

The LEDs would be ok, but I still suggest a fused distribution block.
EDIT ::: Yes that TC will work, just make sure you get the right crank size and chain pitch....
Notice how I used the edit button to add to my previous post?

Well, since you went bigger engine route, Id go with maybe 2 or 3 teeth more( on drive sprocket) than what you had to begin with. I could be wrong though. As far as jack shaft components go, BMI among others, has all you need. Shafts in 3/4 &1" , bearings, sprockets...... heck , even EBay has em......
