I’m working with a bottom barrel 163cc model 10 4hp engine from 1963 pictured on the right..

The rod pictured on the left is a top of the line I/c duel bearing 5hp engines stock rod.

Bottom barrel 1960’s aluminum bore no bearing 4hp engine has way thicker castings and better parts then a 1980’s top of the line I/C steel bore duel bearing 5hp..

Going with a cog belt pulley setup like elseburghtuning.dk they had a slightly smaller pulley on theres but this will do. It took me the longest time to find out it was a gm smog pump with a cog pulley adapted onto it in place of the v-belt pulley.

I think I’ll get paint thinner and get all the red paint off the pump and polish it also. I could build a flashy supercharged hotrod briggs 5hp
