Why do you want to make the spindle brackets? It's probably easier(and cheaper, if you factor in your time and agony), to just buy the brackets. And besides, if you don't build it right, there's always the possibility of them failing at speed. Hmmmmmm....

there are numerous tubelengths available ..
different mfg used different styles for the spindles.
(actual spindle length and diameters, different link positions length and shape
and different kingpin angle, length and sizes with bearings or bushings etc.etc.)

So telling you what size bracket you need is impossible without knowing what size kingpin tube you got.

You can buy weld-kits to make your own spindles (that come with brackets)
the brackets are actually cheap I mean it's a short C section with a throughhole..

But My advice would be, if you want to make your own,
buy the spindles and measure them (add enough space for three or four washers)
that's the only way to be certain Im afraid

buy spindles and measure them in order to know what size bracket you will need.

let me start with a sidenote:
may I ask you to make use of line breaks and paragraphs..

Now back to our regularly scheduled program:
Okay, but what are you asking then?

If we think it's a good idea to NOT weld a chassis?
No we do not!
a good weld is a permanent and maintenance free connection;
bolts have to be checked, retightened and -worst case- replaced occasionally.
Most people just don't and eventually the vehicle will crash
causing injury and sufferings, swearing and screeaming, bleeding and crying...

No, we do not like bolting a chassis together.
Especially for the disabled,
that might not be able to roll and protect their head in case of a crash
a less than perfect connection is NOT a good idea.

Also for the price of the needed high quality nuts and bolts
(a dollar a set with washers is easily spend.. and 100+ bolts are easily spread)
you can get a decent welder to make more than just the same number of connections
just more securely.

frankly.. you can buy a used defunct power wheelchair and convert it
that IMHO is the safest way of succeeding.
and you won't have to weld or bolt as much at all ;)

I was given this scooter shown at https://www.pridemobility.com/p/go-go-elite-traveller-plus-3-wheel but it was missing battery box, batteries, charger, and keys for switch.
I was going to convert it into a go kart but I found out that the top speed is only 5 MPH. I also found out that 3-wheel and 4-wheel scooters have different frames.
I'm not going to try to make a go kart that can do 200 MPH. I want one that does 15-20 MPH.
