This here is the species of duncecicus maximus, native to these parts. I'd use 1/16 on a coffee table.

You're better off with a larger diameter with 1/16" thickness, like 2"x2"x1/16".

Going up in diameter is much stronger/stiffer than going up in wall thickness.

Also, with a decent frame design (not a ladder) 1"x1"x1/16" will be fine.

depending on how much metal your useing and how strong you want it to be it could be perfect, or it could be complete over kill and lots of extra weight. sooooo, what kind of kart are you building?

Ok, So with all this extra weight, Is this going to slow down my kart alot?

If I were to build the frame without sup, and had my 6.5hp clone, and a TC>?

Tires may have little tread, But I will be looking for smallest tires, that I can get and will not cost alot but be safe.

So with what I kind of gave to you for my info, what may I get for speed?

No there not calling for that, They call for 1 1/8 x 120walls

So I think I am going to wait till I find mild steel sqaure tubing around that size. I think I seen some 1x1x100wall and it seem to be pretty strong?
