If you heat the sprocket it might expand enough to slip off. You can spray the key with an upside down bottle of PC duster (basically liquid CO2) to cool it down.

Heat Expands/Cold Shrinks, might give you enough leeway to get it loose without destroying anything.

How much is a new sprocket? By the time you spend all that time and money on tools, CO2, torches, ect. you might even end up damaging your axle. You might as well cut the sprocket off and get a new one so you can get to the next step.

On second thought, take some more pics from different angles. I think I might have an idea.

Ok. My first idea will not work. What if you pull the motor off, lay it on it's side, get a t-post driver and knock it down?

Famous last words......... :D
If you know anyone or know of a machine shop, you could probably take it to them and have them push it off with a shop press. Most shop presses can push with ~20 tons of force, which should be enough to either push it off or break the sprocket. :p

Get a section of pipe that will slip over the axle and beat on it. Also see if you can get a couple of big c clamps and crank down on them in between smacks.
