You could use a 1/4" fitting similar to this pic,
drill a slightly undersized hole in your boot so it'll fit realty tight,
then put a little RTV black gasket maker sealant on the fitting before you press it in.

The arrows indicate fuel flow through your pulse pump:
So the In-arrow fitting connects to your fuel tank.
Then those 2 Out-arrows are indicating the pumps dual outlets, you can cap/plug-off either outlet and then connect the other outlet to your carbs fuel inlet.

Those extra fittings on your carb are all vents, you simply need to connect 8" to 12: long hoses to each fitting, and then run/secure all those hoses down to the lower-back side of the engine, so they can vent the carb and carry fuel away from a source of ignition (hot engine/chamber/spark) for fire prevention reasons in case the carburetor ever developed a severe flooding problem.

All 3 of those are for a vent tube. Mine dont have anything on it either. I would put them on it tho. They keep debris and crap out with hose on it. Yours is similar to pic....................

I have the same fuel pump. You have 1 in, 1 vacuum, and 2 outs. The separate one on the bottom is the vacuum that makes it work. it goes in the intake somewhere between the cylinder and carburetor. The 2 outs you can either block one or run a y and use both into one.

I made a diagram for the pump, The 1 underneath not shown is the vacuum source from the intake somewhere...................

Finally the 3rd pic is where mine is for the fitting for the vacuum to the pump. You can remove the rubber boot slide the reed cage out and plug the hole with a towel and drill and tap the side of it somewhere,

OK thanks guys,so a few more for yall d.o I run the extra outlet to the tank for a return line? Or t of it the line going from the pump to the carb? And what fluids do i need for this yz125 2 stroke. What fuel /oil mix ratio.im at a loss for what fluids need to be put in this motor.gearcase and all.do i use plain ole regular coolant?I'm so close to finally being able to run this machine.I'm pumped but don't wanna mess anything up.

regular green 50/50 coolant mix with water.

i use 10/40 oil in mine from a motorcycle parts place. I would check cause they are different on different engines.

and you can t or block the port off. mine was either way. no change.

DO NOT use it as a return it made mine run lean.

32 to 1 is a good starting point for fuel and oil mix.

Just got this thing ready to go and my clutch doesn't work.of course its my 99 yz125 engine on it. When I pull the clutch handle in, the axel still turns the motor instead of spinning freely.nowni know the cables good and have adjusted it.today I got a new gasket and pulled the clutch cover off today and am stumped. Is this piece, ( I assume is the push rod) supposed to spin freely?also is been dry for a year or too so maybe they need to soak in the gear oil required in the tranny?I'll post a small video. Any ideas? Thanks

thanks! i just opened up the package with my new yz85 engine! im kindof where you were when you started. i have everything i need right now (i think) except a #428 chain, the axel sprocket to match the motor, the motor mount, and then the shifter and clutch lever. do you have any idea if the dimensions for the motor mount is the same for a yz85 and a yz80? or even a yz125? i figured if i could get this engine mounted, it would be easier to figure what exactly i need.

also i am confused on how to measure the frame for the motor mount. the mounts are 30/32mm by 90/92mm. i measured and i got 29mm by 74mm. so i know i need a 30mm. but i am unsure about the second number. ive read to measure the distance between the 2 bars from the middle of one to another. but it isnt coming out right :( i need a mount asap. help!
