Yea I was going to call them, but I was wondering if there was just a sprocket online I could order before I pay extra (I'm assuming)
That sprocket is almost exactly what I need but I don't know if the keyway is the right size. Are you sure that 428 chain is the same as 40?

I bought the 40BS161 from this website, do I have to do anything besides just putting the chain on and drive?
There are used ones on eBay too, one was $13, free shipping. Maybe you need a spare.
I would but I'm 15 and I'm working on the kart in my parents garage, all I have are tools, welders, grinders, etc. I'm dont think I can machine parts in any way.

I guess I could use a file, I feel like I would make it uneven though. Probably still going to anyway. I don't think I would modify the chain, just stretch it. Is there anyway to stretch the chain?
I bet if I put the chain on and focred onto the sprockets it might adapt, should I just do that?
