Got the billet side cover on. I had to drill out two of the dowel pin holes to make all 4 of the dowel pins work, but it wasn’t a big deal and it’s done now, so maybe this stupid thing will stay together now.

I does look good, as far as it breaking goes, I’ve been a racer my whole life in one way or another and I understand that when you pull out on the track that you’ve just agreed to whatever is about to happen. Sometimes you win, sometimes you blow your motor, sometimes you just drive like crap. It just is what it is.

I got the sidecover vents welded into the valve cover. They look like Ray Charles welded them with his feet, but they don’t leak. I made a short video of the first fire up.

Lol, I'm sure Ray won't mind the welds so much after you take him on his first spin around the track sideways at WOT!!!

Sounds great! Watch that chain slap though, I know it needs some but since I don't race I guess I don't know how much is too much!

That new head seems to be working really well with it, I’m looking forward to getting it on the track and feeling it rather that just listening to it in the garage.
The chain definetly needs adjusted, oiled too, but I don’t race for another week and a half so I e got time.
