That valve train noise you're talking about, can you get a video or sound clip of it? I have a noise that shows up on my engine once in a while, some people say it's chain rattle, others say it's tappets, but it doesn't seem to affect my engine any. I'm just stumped as to what it might be.

Kibble, maybe you dropped some Kibble N Bits in the 710?
i know its the chain. these things have issues with the tensioner and i was revving it to seafoam it. the problems never quit

What about there Hephaestan Mid Base woofers? Surely that will cover the noise of the cam chains!
few weeks ago i purchased 4 new tires. they happened to be low profile. no big deal cause i got 4 for $180 new.
i go on sr trip. come back. lift the car up. change the rear bearing. had the tires mounted. then go to a shop to borrow a 14mm allen. they didnt have it, but the one across the road might. i cross the road. BANG GRRRRSH. right away i knew what happened
mom brought me a gallon of oil. i got some steel putty. bandaged it up and drove the 1 mile home. took the oil pan off the passat my dad has sitting around. dog gone german engineers. they put like 7 of the little bolts behind the sway bar so you have to take it off. i had to do that on both cars
damage cost- $15 and 4 hours
