Smog pumps do work, I'l be putting one on my 4HP Briggs when I finish it's mount.

ive heard alot about smog pumps being used and seems like an interesting idea
how you would need morefuel in the engine because the air is being increased...would a mikuni fuel pump made off of the engines pulse work?

it's actually been done if you search on google but they took smog pumps off big block V8's like a 460 disassembled it gave it proper seals then pressurize the mikuni bowl thru its vent

^^ thats what i did with my turbo... the carb is getting pressurised by a small line by ONE of its vent... with 2 vents hooked up i ran so much rich that it was killing the engine...
i have a mikuni fuel pump pumping fuel into the bowl... without it i was burning more fuel than it was getting into the bowl
and you WILL have to mess with jet size a lot to find the correct one for boost! if i go slighly bigger or smaller on mine it runs like crap

did you do this to a clone? and if u did....what size jet did you use...i am not familiar with jetting and boost so this would be much needed info
