I was just curious if there were arid parts of Los Angeles I wasn't aware of. Everything I've seen there gets watered and the humidity is pretty high, partly because everything gets watered and it's 0-15mi from the ocean. For me, the palm trees give it away as either L.A. or Florida. It's not green enough for FL IMO, so that left L.A.. There are also street signs visible at points in the video that I recognized.
I spend most of my weekdays in the Antelope Valley, so I'm familiar with desert hellscapes. It's going to be green from now through April, then in the span of a week or two in May it will turn brown and look like it hasn't rained in five years.
