I also made the A arm's longer after I built the original ones to accommodate my shocks.

Probably would also look into maybe a jackshaft instead of cv axles. The amount of travel would be much much greater, and the rear sprocket wouldn't be out back down low. As it sits currently I have a huge rear sprocket with a giant guard. I don't need any rocks eating my chain
How much longer did you make the A Arms?

Made my LED whip yesterday. I've had the fiberglass whip for a few years just collecting dust in the garage. I got the leds and clear shrink tube for about 20 bucks. They aren't as bright in this pic as they are in the buggy, my power source is only 9volts. Holy cow is it bright plugged into 12volts !

I bought the new boots on Amazon, and they came with absolute worst hose clamps. I upgraded to actual stainless CV boot clamps. The old rubber was cracking from being exposed to the sun. All better now !

Here's a few pics of the whip installed both in the daylight and night. You can see how much light comes off at night. Lights up a lot!

Lol, I'm telling you what !

They came from Amazon, just 12 volt waterproof led with sticky back(13.00). The led had a quick power connector on the one end. I had the male side in my electrical parts tool box. Also, I covered them with a marine grade shrink tube/clear(12.00)

Good lord that whip certainly lights up the area!! No need for christmas lights with that thing around jeez,
also what is the purpose of the whip anyways?
Its for more visibility at night when I'm riding. All of the riding I do is in the mountains or sand dunes. So you have trees and hills big rock's and dunes. It gives me an additional 6 feet of height on my 5 foot tall buggy, with light. In case I come up on another "enthusiast" who likes to go fast they'll see me sooner.

Don’t worry, we weren’t making fun of your antenna. We were just amusing ourselves. I would have went blue though now that you brought it up. Or amber.
