I made up a tri-fold flyer about the Electrathon America program, a while back
...& now, have had a chance to do some adjusting on the borders, a bit
...some slight editing
...& also, add a splash of color

Most of the text was "cut & pasted" right from the EA rulebook
...but, to help promote this "hands on" student learning, activity program
...maybe...in our local school system
...&/or some of the bigger local churches
...or?? (anyone got any ideas?)

I made a couple of adjustments
...& here is what I did :2guns:

1.) original mission statement
Our MISSION: To inspire an interest in Science, Engineering, and Technology by involving participants in the design, construction, testing and development of competitive electric vehicles.

So, I added "Mathematics"
...& also, re-arranged the words Science, Engineering, and Technology
...to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
...
or STEM (like used in many school systems)

2.) original text under Vehicles
VEHICLES
Electrathon vehicles are single person, lightweight, aerodynamic, high efficiency, electric vehicles with three or four pneumatic tires. They must meet specific design and safety rules. They are powered by standard sealed (won’t leak if damaged) lead acid battery packs not exceeding the weight limit specified in the vehicle design rules section.

I removed "standard sealed (won’t leak if damaged) lead acid"
...& simply inserted "(up to)1kWh"

Here is the "new" flyer

When are you going? You should go and inspire the young engineers, geeks and nerds as well as future gearheads.
Yup, the whole program is to help inspire the youngsters
...that's why I like it so much

The flyer is to be able to either hand out manually
...&/or to send electronically

I'ma thinkin'/hopin' these are printable PDF links ;)

Can I bring my gas kart?
Hey Denny,

I don't think your ICE kart would be very welcome at an EA race
...kinda against their rules :furious2:

I would let ya run your "gasser" at my DIY Champion Track
...but, its gotta have a comparable HP rating

I'm running a 48V 1,000W motor (~1.2HP)
...but, I'll even let ya double that up
...& let ya bring a 2.5HP kart :cornut:

sorry, no
Well...heck :mad2:

I made these up in Google Documents
...then, saved 'em as a PDF file
...& first posted the "headers" (as links)
...& then, just posted the "headers"

Anyone know how to "save" a Google Docs file (thats how the kool kids say it)
...so, its postable, on here
...&/so then, others can download & print it?
