In the small engine world, just about! A billet 5hp is about the most high strung 'lil engine you can get. His isn't quite full race motor... yet!

How rare it is to get a second chance. Maybe I caught the trouble early? Maybe it‘s to late for that block. doesn’t matter now I picked up a 35$ 5hp gen 3 block in amazing condition. my rod and inserts looked like they did when I installed them.. like it wasn’t even run long enough to break in? anyway it’s all on the gen 3 block. this 5hp on the trike vibrates wayyyyy less then the last one did and sounds worlds better. So all is well. Ohh I got the live axle swap kart sold for 500$!!

Big block kohler just got outrun like it was tied to the starting pole! my streets now!

Briggs 7mm generic whatever wire burned up against the clements head. It is a genuine coil but the wire looked cheap. It has a completely replaceable wire though! So I was able to cut a streetfire to length! probably an upgrade if anything.

This is so weird to me I thought the streakers were going a lot faster?? 14t 60t sprockets on both streakers with big modified 8hp’s.. now with a 10t 60t clutch setup on the trike I was floating down the road at only 47mph? And the trike could use some more gear it still revs to hard for all the faster it’s going. Maybe I need to take the 14t’s off and drop down to 13t’s? now I’m trying to make the streakers as fast as the trike..

The red kohler is tired. the blue kohler is out of the box. Ya know I checked the tac one day and was only running 3800-4100 maxed held wide open for extended periods. now that I say all of this there is no speed to be had without billet so I might try to list both t/q kohlers up as a package and build another 5hp... I have been riding the trike all day and it revvs out extremely hard and I only had one hand on the steering at 47mph other holding the gps. smoothest ride I own... I remember your comment (we’ll see how the built 5hp hold‘s up to my big block 8hp’s.. I’m disappointed it outpreforms them by miles.

next plan I never cleaned the front wheel bearings. Also never put new bearings in the rear diff. I figure a good set of 3/4 Oregon bearings and an upgrade front wheel bearing for the occ chopper tire. and then a 12t clutch And hunch down in the seat and I’ll get past 50mph
