True, that's what I was hoping for. I got a 12 dollar bucket seat from WalMart, if you look at my pictures it's in there somewhere. It's OD green, and pretty strong.

You could probably get 60-70mph+ out of that engine, the sled probably topped out at 45-50, but thats in snow.

Ya thats what im hoping for. The speedometer on the sled went all the way up to 100 so i figured probobly about 60 mph. Any ways today im going to reinforce what i welded yesterday since im not very good at welding on tubing. What i did was get tubing that was barely smaller than the frame tubing on the quad than i put it inside of the frame metal and welded it. Today im going to drill holes all the way through before where i welded and stick some bolts through it. That way i shouldn have any problems at high speed.

And why do you say that? I think its a really good way to prevent failure at high speeds and cause me to break bones....again lol.

It just seems like a lot of work, but hey, if you've got the time, then go for it. Extra reinforcement is never bad, just as long as it's not too heavy for your engine to move :)

Well the quad frame tubing is plenty big enough so i just put the smaller tubing inside of it like maybe 4 inches in and the rest of it is part of the frame. Im not actually putting bigger tubing over the other end again. I think this is going to weigh maybe about the same or less as the sled i took the engine out of so it should still have pretty good speed.

Tomorrow i will. I didnt get much done tonight except for cutting up an old trailer my friend and i built a few months ago for my old go kart. Im going to use the metal from it for reinforcement on the floor. Im still trying to get a bucket seat though like one from a small car or something.

Haha no sorry. Im probably going to drive my pickup over to my family's other property tomorrow and we have like 60 bajillion cars that i could probably get a bucket seat out of. Haha maybe even a radio. I have got some ideas on what i want to do with my extra wire that used to go to a light and tachometer on this engine. Maybe a heated stearing wheel or something instead. or i could keep the tachometer and the light.

Haha well im not sure if i want a roll cage yet but i think so. If i do i got good idea for a door type thingy. :idea2: Its the rack that used to be on top of the quad on front. But turn is sideways and lift it up its a darn good door for the roll cage and since i have two ...one for each side. lol.

Epicly redneck :D And yeah, I bugged a friend enough to give me this really tiny old stereo, that I'm gonna try to wire up to these 7 dollar speakers I nabbed from the Goodwill.
