sad honda trike 90cc

i just got given a verry poor looking honda 90 trike. its in moderate condition with all of the guards broken. also the 90 cc engine is sceased, would it be better to pull it apart and fix it or get a new one. also the rear axel is sceased, i have no idea what to do

Plenty of WD-40 and some torque will free the rear axle, then you should pull it off, sand it back, prime + paint and replace bearings (if needed) or grease old ones. As for seizing, anything I have to say on it would only be speculation. I'm not well versed in engine seizures.

thanks for your help, the engines are supposedly the same as postie bikes, so i might get one of them to use

Speculation:
CT90 is an air cooled engine, assuming engine was oiled then it was overheated and previous rider kept riding, prompting seizure. Because there was still some lubrication, I would infer the engine is "less" seized then an engine ran without oil. If it were mine, I'd pull the head off and give the piston a couple of whacks with a deadblow hammer or a wooden drift. Then I would pull it apart, clean it out, replace gaskets, e.t.c.

Don't sell the carb. They are hard to come by. And sayre, you dont want it anyway, there are much better carbs than that.

the axxel is still stuck, i took out the shaft where the wheels are attached, just leaving the axle with the cog and the brake drum shud it just tap out from one side and leave the bearings

now that i have the whole thing out the only thing left is the ceased drumb brake, i took the nut off the end and the drumb is ceased i tried tapping it with a hammer and prying it and tapping the lever that works the brakes, but nothing
