I really like bigheads idea he got some nice stuff really cheap i might go out this Saturday and look around and see if i could turn a profit, it would be even better if somewhere would hire me haha.

First tip is to look at Cl for neighborhood sales. This way you can hot 20 to 30 plus sales in an hour. After that then just go branch out.

2nd tip is to stay in middle to low class areas. Rich people do not have sheds and garages full of junk to sale at yard sales for the most part. I do best in middle class areas. Now if you ever looking for nice sofas, tables and beds go to the rich area.

Tip 3 is remembering your not shopping for what you like. You’re shopping for the everyone. My last buy was a bunch of old sewing patterns. Maybe a few hundred patterns for dresses and stuff. They wanted $30. I asked myself if I was into sewing how much would I pay for these? I gave them the $30. When I got home I researched the patterns on ebay under "Sewing Pattern lots 80's". I will make about $75. What I am saying is do not walk by the dumb crafts supplies just for your not into it. (Like the rubber stamps in the vid above) Bring your smart phone and search the item you find on ebay's COMPLETED auctions. You can use active auctions but consider it's not the final price.

I do really good on contractor tools. Drills and basic tool stuff are waste of time. To many being sold on ebay. But contractor tools do well. Say a Clarke floor sander. The contractor guys have the money and they need these tools to make money. So that’s a good tip. Any tool used to make money is a good buy. Vintage stereo stuff from the 70's and 80's does really well. Car CD players do not do well unless it's killer one. Stay away from paint ball guns unless you know it's top of the line and like new. Some things ebay is just flooded with. It hard to sale a makita drill for good money when there are a hundreds of them listed.

Don't be a afraid to buy stuff where you are only making like $20. But make sure your not spending $50 to make $20. Spend $10 to make $20. As a rule of thumb anything over $75 and sale I will do a basic search. Good money should be made in $20 buys. $20 should get you into the $50 profit range.

No brainer stuff like nice tennis racket with case. It's in great condition and they want $5. Buy it and sale it for $20. With these $5 items no need to search it. Or the $5 not to old nice condition baseball glove adult sized? Buy it and move on. Or the 3 little kids gloves they want $2 each for? sale them as a lot and some mom will buy all three of them. I call these my smalls. They are fast and easy to ship. I make most my money with smalls. Then I try to find a few big-ticket items where I make a $100 or more. Most the time you need to spend $50 to $100 to make the $100 to $200 plus profit mark. Then sometimes you get lucky as hell. If you find a sale that has lots of stuff you want. Make a pile and try to bundle to save a few bucks.

I say start small for easy shipping and to build feedback. USPS has fate rate shipping boxes that are free. They make shipping easy as long as it fits. If not you will need a scale as well. Shipping is easy with ebay. You print the labels and your done. No waiting at post office.

More than anything though do not give up and lose hope for you been yard selling a few hours and have not found anything good. Most the time it's just a few sales you really score at. It really is about how many sales you can get to in a day. No lolly gaging and go full speed. I have friends give up for they spent hours and did not find anything. They were looking for gold and walking by the smalls.

Ask other shoppers at the sale if they seen any other really good guy sales in the area.

Okay I will stop now. I just get pumped when someone wants to try this. More so if they really need to money. If anyone wants to check it out PM me and I will send you my Ebay sold link. I do all yard sales so you can see what I am doing as of today. Going to be listing lots this weekend.

On average I will spend $300 to $400 per week. I will always make over $1200 and up to $1500 50% percent on the time. three or four times per year I will get into the $2000 range with lucky dog buys. There is a whole new world for buy and selling old motorcycle parts as well. I see old honda street bike for $200 all the time. It would be easy $500 plus in parts if not more. Pick your models good though. I do not buy to part out but I see the money every week that could be.

Sale some of your RC car stuff to get $100. Then go to some sales with goal to make $300. With a smart phone anyone should be able to figure out if the item they are looking at will make money on ebay. If you cannot find the thing your searching then move on.

I just bought 25 geese hunting decoys for $25. I thought to myself if I was a hunter would these cost me more than $1 each? So I bought them. When I got home I looked on ebay and I will make $100 easy.

Speaking of RC cars? My father in Law is looking. Do you have anything for sale that ready with no problems? Gas or electric but electric would be ideal. A package deal of one running and some projects would be considered as well.

Edit: I also bought 15 pairs of Adidas and Calloway golf shoes all new in the box with tags for $100. I will make a killing on them. They are top of the line all size 9. Sometimes you just get lucky. Also bought womans Stetson xxxxx cowboy hat for $5. I will sale for $50. It all adds up fast.
