RPM meter for gx 200?

Ok i put a billet rod, 18lb vavle springs and removed the governor on my honda gx200. Is there a way i can hook it up to an rpm meter? Where can i buy one?

There's small tachs sold for small engines, TinyTach is one of them, but I've never used one myself.

I heard the numbers are always all over the place but it gives you an idea.

i read they update really slowly, which only works for cruising

TinyTach if you're on a budget. They take around 3 seconds to update tho...

I have a tinytach. I find it plenty good enough, though I recall it caps at 10k rpm.

I doubt you'll hit 10k RPM with a Clone.

Oscar dont dought anyone. Some karters are running 12 grand out of the clones.

Lol no it doesnt take that many billet parts to run 12 k RPM. All it takes is the b@#$% to keep it pinned to 12 k.

If the rod holds at 12,000 for that long (billet), I'd be surprised.

Yea its a real ballsy move to take a $100 Chinese motor to 4x its rated speed.

No the carters running 12 k where using genuine honda block's and I take my word back on not taking alot of billet to run 12 k.
