There's one pic missing, the one where the wheels are straight...

My guess is the tierods need a lot of adjusting; my prediction is, when the steering wheel is straight, the front of the wheels point out when they should be pointing in

Thanks I' ll give it a try any idea how much they should point in? Or trial and error?

Measure from wheel to wheel, even height as axle, on the farthest point behind the axle. Then measure in front of axle, same location. Say you got 30" in the back and 34.5" in the front. Adjust it so the front is 32" and the back is 32.5...... As a reference. IIRC, you want like 1/4"-1/2" toe in.......

One obvious point Jim forgot: the steering wheel should be centred & the measurements should be equal on both sides from the centreline...

Yeah, I guess I should have mentioned that. Somethings you just assume are a given..... Like centering the steering wheel before you start.....

One thing I learned a long time ago, never assume, it makes an a$$ out of U...

Until you know someones level of ability, you have to assume the worst, take nothing for granted; best case, they already know & inform you of it; worst case, they don't know, you leave out an "assumed" detail & they totally mess it up...

I don't think I've ever seen a post along the lines of "I already knew that, I'm not an idiot", they're more like "I already knew that but, thanks anyway"...

A favourite saying of mine lately is

"Better to have it & not need it than need it & not have it"

That goes for information & knowledge too
