Hey Rick,

Their entire schedule has changed since Andre took it over. They do run on Sundays for owner operators. The track length has not changed a great deal.

Here is an example. On a normal track day M-S they use the normal track. I can do a 58-59 second lap in the rentals. On Sun they add a bit of track to it and I can do the lap in around 1:05.

There is some plans expand it a bit using another piece of land that was included in the lease I am just not sure what time frame.

Karting will also start running till 10pm once the darn lights get finished.

This map will give you an idea of what land is strictly karting. I am in the process of finishing up their site at www.orlandokartcenter.com

They run karts on Sundays now??? I guess I've been so busy on the kart I haven't kept up with the changes since Andre took over.
How long is the kart track now? It was a mile, IIRC.

I liked the section where the drift track is now, I'm gonna miss that. The first time I went to the track after they changed it, I spun out twice where they changed it, :furious2: , I just couldn't seem to get used to it. I'm sure I can, but I was just so used to the the way it was before,

You can buy the hub here: http://www.tsracing.com/store/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=997&CATID=28 ,

I looked at it and made my own out of the original steering wheel hub by welding on an extension, a tab to mount the cable to, and a pivot for the handle. TS Racing also has handles and clutch handle kits here:

QRC Karts has one that looks like it clamps onto the steering shaft:

Here's my my setup:

I will be changing mine soon though, when I was mocking it all up, my clutch was stuck, and it was really hard to tell how much pull I needed, so I made it where it would pull a lot, but it's kinda hard to pull, now that the clutch isn't stuck, I find I only need about an inch of travel at the end of the clutch lever to disengage it, so I'm going to lower the ratio to make it easier to pull, and a little easier to ease it out, it won't be so sudden.

technically going from neutral to first is the only time you need to use the clutch, but it doesnt hurt to hit the clutch, but if you decide not to use the clutch you should rev it up a little, then completely let off the gas and shift like normal.
